This week and last week would have had to work very hard to be more different from each other.
Last week, I was the only person in my department.
This week, everyone was here.
Last week, I was able to turn my music up to 11.
This week, I have noise-canceling headphones.
Last week, I got a tremendous amount of work done.
This week... Well, it's been so-so.
Last week, I hadn't seen the new Avengers movie.
This week, ::squeeeee:: I'm so happy! It was so good!
I suppose these things just highlight the fact that life changes quickly. It didn't seem that way when I was younger, but as I get older, I'm amazed at how everything just flies by. I couldn't imagine what the year 2015 would bring when it was 1995. And I still can't really imagine what 2035 is going to be like. But I do know it's going to be a crazy ride!
